The year was 2008, a time when it seemed like nothing could go wrong, but one day, the hotel industry witnessed a devastating incident that would rock the industry to its core. A massive explosion destroyed the ShangriLa Hotel in Beijing, which was a major tourist attraction for the city. The casualties were devastating, and the government had to act quickly to contain the damage and rebuild the hotel. I witnessed this incident firsthand and had the opportunity to analyze and understand the damage caused by it.
